During the busy hustle and bustle of the holiday season, a few agents took time to share with us their favorite holiday traditions.
Jan Anderson said it was hard to pick just one – but Christmas Eve is her favorite – a huge array of appetizers, complete with fresh shrimp that their two cats smell a mile away and hovers close by until they break down and share. The open presents and the end the night by attending midnight candle light service and the service ALWAYS ends singing “Silent Night” by the glow of the candles.
Tammy Maddrey shares that when there is enough snow they host a casual sledding party for anyone in the neighborhood and their families.
Connie Ede enjoys the St. Olaf Christmas festival (dinner and concert). Dinner consists of lutefisk, lefse, Norwegian meatballs and pickled herring. She also treasures Christmas Eve candle light service and welcoming granddaughter’s home from college and Africa!
Beau Bruneau states it plain and simple – having a REAL Christmas tree – he likes the smell and look of a real tree – nothing better!
Carrie Swanson has many favorites including joy and wonder that Santa Claus brings to her children, laughter as her children play with their cousins, poppy seed coffee cake and caramel rolls and acoustic Christmas at their church.
Todd Ley looks forward to a family Christmas Eve walk to mass pulling the kids in sleds…snow permitting. When they return they enjoy a family meal of “winner-winner-chicken dinner”. An easy recipe to thorw together before they leave and it’s ready when they return. The whole house smells like cinnamon and garlic – a simple, but memorable tradition.
At Roger Fazendin REALTORS, our annual Holiday Christmas Brunch is a favorite work holiday tradition. Share with us, what is your favorite holiday tradition?
