It’s great to talk to other brokerages and collect information, but once you see the steps and marketing plan of a Roger Fazendin Realtors agent – you’ll want to list your home with them and see the results. It’s never really too early to meet with your agent. Home sellers are sometimes surprised at the work needed to get their home “market ready”. Having a conversation early in the process, allows you to have time to accomplish all that is needed to show your home in the best light.
Step 2 – Staging. We know this step is vital. Home selling and buying can be an emotional process. Have a neutral person, like a recommended stager come in and give you a checklist of tried and true things they know will appeal to home buyers. Step 3 – Professional Photography. We use the best in the business to photograph the exterior and interior of our homes. This is a first impression. We know that most buyers search homes on their own on a variety of websites. We want those photos to look amazing so that they want to come and tour.
Step 4 – Proper Pricing. This is critical. If a home goes on the market and is not priced right, it can sit with little or no activity. They will paint a realistic picture for you and help guide you in making the best decision for list price. Step 5 – Multiple Listing Service (MLS). This is the industry tool to get you the most exposure. By putting your home on MLS you gain exposure to agents with clients wanting to see your home and you gain increased exposure by sharing the listing with other websites – whether it’s general sites like Realtor.com, Zillow, or Trulia or other broker sites – all of these sites allow people to see your listing.
