“I didn’t realize how satisfied I would be when I help people with their home sale or purchase.” That’s what Meg Miller told us when we sat down to talk to her recently about her real estate career at Roger Fazendin Realtors®. “There is so much emotion involved in home buying and selling, which I completely understand, and I love being the person that helps to keep the balance and continue to guide them through the closing. I love helping my clients evaluate and re-evaluate to be sure. I even enjoy the paperwork because I know that all the details are wrapped up in the documents. This is what I do – help people buy and sell homes – this is all I do, all the time, and I love it!”
Meg states that the internet helps get the process started, but it can also give a distorted picture. “Sometimes you see the great pictures on-line and then you go tour and the home doesn’t look anything like it did in the photos or the pictures are not very good and yet when you go in person, you see the potential. It’s a lot about guiding the process.” Meg can relate to a variety of buyers, she understands how that first time home buyer feels, remembering her first purchase and she’s empathetic to empty nesters knowing that day is coming soon for her and her husband. Every process and every stage is interesting and she is happy to help.
She is thrilled to be a part of the Fazendin team, stating that their reputation in the industry is stellar. The many positive comments she hears from other agents at other companies makes her smile. Broker/Owner Andy Fazendin makes himself available for questions and guidance at all times and the willingness of the other agents in the office is excellent. “There is such a feeling of trust within Fazendin. We all know we can call on one another at any time for assistance. The staff support is unique in the industry and so helpful,” says Meg.
Meg’s children and husband are very supportive of her work. They like that she is a Realtor and her husband is a good sounding board. Maple Grove is where the Miller’s call home and they love their neighborhood and the area. Meg just listed a home in Nottingham in Maple Grove, where there is great pride in ownership. The couple contacted her last April and they’ve been working together since to get it ready to put on the market. Meg encourages anyone considering a move to contact her sooner, rather than later. “Just because you talk to a Realtor doesn’t mean you have to sell or buy immediately, it’s perfectly fine to consult, even if selling or buying is down the road.”
Meg wants people to say that she did a good job for them, had fun and that they were confident in the process she guided them through. She loves beings a neighborhood expert and sharing what she knows about the area. People should realize that they need to be represented, it’s to their advantage. Meg clearly says, “don’t be afraid to call me, you are not bothering me, this is my job. Call me first, even if you are just curious!” In case you can’t tell, Meg is ready, willing and available to assist and she’s very good at it!
