Front Desk Reception is one of the few jobs in a residential real estate company in which the person remains stationery as opposed to a job that moves people around the building in a flurry of activity. The tasks connected to listing and selling residential real estate are numerous and complex. Our agents are involved in many aspects from property searches, comparative analysis and marketing. From the Front Desk I have watched agents and staff gather for: new agent training; weekly business meetings; technical training; technical support; social media update training; re-certification training and sales insights and motivation.
I have watched while our 50+ agents and support staff have engaged with and supported each other and their families. I have seen celebrations of joy and watched our Fazendin family grieve together. As I have seen this multi-generational company relate to and support each other, I have been entertained, encouraged and had my heart warmed.
Even though the bar is high for excellence in everything we do I have witnessed a genuine humility and kindness towards everyone we interact with. This includes the relationships we have developed with the mailman, the FedEx driver, the UPS driver, vendor delivery persons and the Jimmy Johns kid.
