So, who is Jen Henderson?

Jen is a true Minnesotan at heart. Born in Duluth, raised in Alexandria, and a longtime resident of the Twin Cities, Jen’s roots run deep in the Land of 10,000 Lakes. From her university years in Southeast and Northeast Minneapolis to her time in Calhoun/Isles, Edina, and now Deephaven, Jen embodies the breadth and beauty of Minnesota living.

Jen’s career has been just as diverse and impressive. She began as a real estate paralegal, gaining hands-on experience in the complexities of property transactions. Inspired to deepen her legal expertise, she earned her law degree from Mitchell Hamline School of Law in St. Paul’s charming Summit Hill neighborhood.

Jen joined Cargill in Wayzata as an attorney, where she sharpened her analytical and legal skills, and performed real estate and other transactions across the United States. She successfully moved into global management and leadership roles, which took her around the world, where she continued to hone her skills in negotiation, strategy, and management, while also experiencing corporate relocations first-hand.
Jen spent over two decades with Cargill, leading teams, analyzing, and explaining complicated concepts, negotiating critical deals, and building a global network. Her background in law and business gives Jen a distinctive advantage in real estate.

But real estate has always been part of Jen’s story—and her family’s. Her grandparents ran a real estate brokerage, Solem Real Estate, in Wabasha, Minnesota, and their legacy remains a touchstone for Jen. A lifelong interest and a part-time participant in real estate investments, as well as a passion for helping others led her to a natural transition. Now a licensed real estate agent, Jen is committed to guiding you through one of life’s most important decisions—buying or selling a home.

Today, Jen lives in Deephaven with Mike, her high school sweetheart and husband of many years. Together, they’ve raised two sons, Liam and Aidan, who are proud Minnetonka High School graduates. When she’s not working for her clients, Jen enjoys exploring Minnesota’s parks and trails, working and volunteering as a mediator, and spending time with her family.
