Theodore Wirth Regional Park
Parkland from Golden Valley Road to 394, Golden Valley
Enjoy 1.35 miles of pedestrian and bike paths, a round of tennis, or play 18 holes of Disc Golf on their par 3 course, open May-Oct.
Raspberry Island Regional Park
2 Wabasha St., Saint Paul
Located on the Mississippi River, Raspberry Island Regional Park provides stunning views of downtown Saint Paul, a walking path, access points to the river, planting beds, benches, and more!
East River Flats Park
351 East River Parkway, Minneapolis
Located in the Mississippi Gorge Regional Park, walk the trails before or after enjoying a picnic with views of the river 25ft below the limestone bluffs.
B.F. Nelson Park

A great spot to take in the Minneapolis skyline and sip your morning coffee.
Phalen Regional Park
1600 Phalen Dr., Saint Paul
Located on one of Saint Paul’s largest lakes, Phalen Regional Park is a popular destination for fishing, boating, swimming, biking, golf, picnics, and more.
Minnehaha Regional Park
4801 S Minnehaha Drive, Minneapolis
One of Minneapolis’ oldest and most popular parks featuring a majestic 53-foot waterfall, limestone bluffs, and river overlooks.
Lake of the Isles Park
2500 Lake of the Isles Pkwy E, Minneapolis
Go fishing or take a bike ride around the lake. This park has an off-leash area where your pup can run to his heart’s desire.
Creek Reserve
12400 James Deane Parkway, Maple Grove
Enjoy 4,900 acres of hiking and biking trails, horse trails, and a swimming pond. As you move through forests, wetlands, and prairies, you’ll see plenty of wildlife.
West Bush Lake Park
95th St and West Bush Lake Road, Bloomington
Family-friendly playground, volleyball court, canoeing, fishing pier, and ample space for picnics.
Klapprich Park & Field
340 Park Street E, Wayzata
During the summer, this park’s hockey rink is used as an off-leash dog park. Gather your friends for a game of baseball or softball followed by a picnic.
While this year may be different than summer’s past, there is still plenty of Minnesota sunshine to soak up and the Twin Cities has over 500 parks where you can do just that.
