As a newcomer at Fazendin I naturally got nervous going into my first company gathering, especially being only my third week here. Not only was it enjoyable with the outbursts of laughter shared over a savory brunch, it was also insightful to the type of community Fazendin Realtors is. The people of Fazendin truly value one another as people rather than employees and colleagues. It is easy to see why someone would stay with the company for 30 years, such as Margret Happel. The current and past owner spoke of her with high regard and recognition that there are people who truly are irreplaceable. It was also refreshing to see a company that acknowledges their employee’s achievements not only for their sales but for being kind and caring to their peers.
I did not have the fortune to meet the late Sandy Willis but can tell she was very special to the people of Fazendin. It was touching that a moment of remembrance was included for a colleague who undeniably made a delightful impact on their lives. From an outside perspective, I came out proud of the brunch to be working with such a wonderful company with talented fun people. Over all it was an entertaining morning and I’ll be looking forward to next year.
