One of the biggest changes we have made this year at Fazendin is the introduction of our new electronic file management system called SkySlope. SkySlope was created about 10 years ago by a top producing agent in California. He thought there was a need for an electronic way to send, store and maintain files between himself, co-agents and his office. Probably a bit premature for Fazendin 10 years ago, electronic file maintenance is now an interracial way companies do business, especially in real estate.
Our agents range from 25 years of age to over 75 years in age, so we knew this change wouldn’t be overnight, but we are really seeing some great advantages with our new system. Agents have the ability to work through their files wherever they are, as well as store the massive amount of documents needed for each file, safely and securely. We have also noticed more consistency in files and the ability to locate needed items, readily for our staff and closing team.
So what does this mean for our clients? Well, we think it will have a few advantages for our clients, but the most importantly the agents will have more time to spend in the “field.” Basically meaning they have more time to do what they should be doing, finding their buyers the perfect home or spending more time networking and actively selling their listings. The perfect solution for a busy real estate agent! There are always growing pains and change is hard, but we feel this will ultimately equate to a better experience for our clients, and bottom line this is what is most important to all of us.
